The cake was a huge hit. And soooo delicious. I froze the leftovers and just cut a piece of the vanilla and ate it frozen. It was even good frozen. I didn't see the other thing you mention for my little friend with the peanut allergy thou. I hope I didn't overlook it. Well, thanks again. Everyone really liked it. My sister even said she wished she could afford a cake like that. She was really impressed. And that takes a lot to impress her. I have my sons 14th birthday party at my house. I wish I could have afforded to get him a cake from you too. But his time will come when he graduates and turns 18. Well, let me know if i overlooked that.

The two things everyone kept saying to me at the wedding were how much they loved the venue & wanting to know who made our wedding cake. The cake was awesome & everyone absolutely loved the raspberry swirl tier. For a cake that could feed 150 people, we only took about 10 slices home from the bottom two tiers & the entire top tier to freeze. Everyone loved it! I met Melanie when her business was just beginning, I always knew I wanted her to design and make my daughters cake for her sweet 16, when i started planning her event I asked Melanie not only for her amazing cake but also for her eye in setting things up and making me centerpieces, there isnt anything she cant do to make your day go easy and the end result is perfection! when we walked into the hall and saw the amazing cake and all her personal touches to everything I cant even tell you how happy we were. she helped make a day i have been planning for 16 years not only come to life but be perfect in every sense of the word. The cake was spectacular! It was perfect for a first birthday party - fun and colorful. It was even more beautiful in person. Everyone at the party was raving about it. A lot of people said it looked like cakes they see on those cake reality shows. And it tasted delicious! People commented about how fresh and yummy it was. A lot of times cakes look nice but taste so-so. All three layers were terrific.

This is our Third time using the services of L&M's Sensational Soiree. We have had L&M make use so far 4 cakes. We hear it all the time at our events "Who made the Cake" & “This Cake is Delicious”. The gift box cake was a huge success. Everyone @ the party loved it. It was a beautiful cake that tasted great. It got to the point that one of my girlfriends actually took a gift box home (yes a actual whole gift box cake). As residents of Florida, whose family resided and wedding was taking place in Philadelphia, some 1100 miles away, the need of a planner and coordinator in the location of our wedding on September 10, 2005 was essential. Due to the nature of this complication and an engagement of one year to plan the necessary items, we had decided to find a planner who could understand our concerns. We needed a professional who could make the best judgments in our absence but one who would be adaptable to the unforeseen complexities of a very large 350+ guest, outdoor, and mixed religion wedding and could relay these details to us quickly using telephone and email correspondence. We didn’t want to be overwhelmed with details we couldn’t handle from Florida and yet desired as much hands-on decision making power to balance this long distance. We found both qualities in Melanie Scott, who was able to strike this balance, keep us completely satisfied with decisions and always took care of tedious details such as cost comparisons, supplies, ordering, and much much more.
In short, our wedding was spectacular. As an outdoor event on family property, there were so many details to arrange. From the tent, to electrical concerns, to catering details, inclement weather plans, out-of-town guest arrangements and all the details that make it beautiful. I cannot even begin to express every arrangement that was handled. To skim the surface, our budget was met, the decorations were impeccable, the caterer was fantastic, our rabbi and priest coordinated beautifully and we are even yet, 7months past, still hearing expressions of awe for our wonderful day.
